Job Title: Structural Fitter Welder
Location: Wagoner, OK
Pay & Schedule: $24–$28/hour (DOE) | 5:00am – 3:30pmPosition Overview
Action Group Staffing is seeking experienced Structural Fitter Welders to join a growing fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in fitting and welding structural steel components, with a strong ability to read blueprints and ensure precise fit-up. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements
  • Experience as a structural fitter/welder required 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications 
  • Proficient in MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel 
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel layout, fit-up, and alignment 
  • Ability to accurately measure and verify dimensions 
  • Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment 
  • Commitment to safety and OSHA standards 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Pass drug screen and background check 
 Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications 
  • Lay out, position, align, and fit structural steel components 
  • Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel 
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, torches, and cutting tools 
  • Measure and verify dimensions to ensure proper fit-up 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment 
  • Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines 
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
