Overnight Welder (MIG/Flux Core)Shift: Overnight (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM) Starting Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour + $3.00/hour shift differentialAction Group Staffing is looking for skilled Overnight Welders to join our growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling truck body components using MIG and Flux Core welding processes. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint reading skills, takes pride in producing quality welds, and is committed to working safely in a fast-paced production environment.Responsibilities
Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on steel truck body components.
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production drawings.
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Weld in multiple positions while maintaining quality and consistency.
Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, and other measuring tools.
Inspect completed welds for quality and make repairs as needed.
Work with production team members to meet daily manufacturing goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of MIG and/or Flux Core welding experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
Manufacturing or fabrication shop experience preferred.
Ability to pass a weld test.
Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and kneel throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay of $20.00–$22.00/hour, based on experience.
$3.00/hour overnight shift differential.
Eligible temp-to-hire employees receive a $1.00/hour attendance incentive after 30 days of employment.
