Welder MIG, TIG, FCAWLocation: Tulsa, OK Pay: $25+per hour DOE Schedule: Full-TimePosition OverviewAction Group Staffing is seeking an experienced Welder for a manufacturing client in Tulsa, OK. This position will perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding while working on a variety of fabrication projects involving sheet metal, structural steel, piping, and other components.The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint-reading skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with welding and fabrication equipment.Qualifications
Previous professional welding and fabrication experience required.
Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Experience using plasma cutters, press brakes, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
Mechanical knowledge involving pipe threading, assembly, rigging, and ductwork.
Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and fabrication.
Knowledge of ASME welding and fabrication codes and standards.
Forklift and machining experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Must understand and follow workplace safety procedures.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on a variety of materials.
Fabricate and weld sheet metal, ductwork, structural steel, and piping.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
Operate plasma cutters, pipe-threading equipment, and press brake machines.
Perform rigging and mechanical assembly as required.
Complete welding and fabrication work according to applicable ASME codes and standards.
Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for accuracy and quality.
Ensure finished work meets specifications and safety requirements.
Assist with fabrication projects involving ductwork, piping systems, and structural assemblies.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all required safety procedures.
