Position Overview Action Group Staffing is looking for an experienced Industrial Painter to join a growing manufacturing company in Northeast Tulsa. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial coatings, surface preparation, and paint mixing in a production or fabrication environment. This role is responsible for preparing metal surfaces and applying coatings to meet quality and durability standards.Job Requirements
Previous industrial painting experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Experience with surface preparation techniques such as sanding, grinding, and cleaning
Knowledge of industrial coatings and paint mixing procedures
Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
Experience using spray equipment and painting tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
Pass drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
Prepare metal surfaces through cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking
Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications and job requirements
Apply industrial coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and coating consistency
Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper cleaning after use
Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements when handling paints and chemicals
Keep work areas clean and organized
Work overtime as needed to meet production schedules
