We are seeking a Slitting & Rewind Machine Operator for a manufacturing opportunity in a company located in Livingston, NJ. This position is responsible for setting up and operating slitting and rewinding equipment used to process materials such as paper, film, foil, and fabric into specified roll widths. The ideal candidate has hands-on machine operating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to monitor production quality while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:
Set up and operate slitting and rewinding machinery according to production specifications
Cut and rewind materials to required widths and specifications
Monitor machine performance throughout production runs
Inspect finished materials for quality, accuracy, and consistency
Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product specifications
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Identify and report equipment or production issues
Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings and quality issues
Handle materials safely throughout the production process
Follow established safety procedures and workplace guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Benefits:
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay rate $17-$20 hr, DEO

Qualifications:
Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience
Familiarity with production machinery and basic equipment maintenance
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic machine issues
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle production materials
Ability to follow production specifications and safety procedures
Dependable and able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
