Shop Foreman – Trailer & Fleet Maintenance Location: Tulsa, OKSchedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift) + occasional after-hours supportSalary: $70,000 – $85,000 (based on experience) OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Shop Foreman to lead daily operations of a high-performing trailer repair and maintenance shop. This role is ideal for a strong lead technician or current foreman who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping equipment safe, compliant, and running efficiently. You will serve as the bridge between leadership and technicians—driving productivity, ensuring quality work, and maintaining a safe, organized shop environment. Preferred Qualifications (Highly Desired)
  • Class A CDL
  • DOT certifications (FHWA inspections, air brakes, etc.)
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience managing shop productivity, scheduling, or work order systems
 What You’ll Do
  • Lead and coordinate daily shop operations for semi-trailer repair and maintenance
  • Assign and prioritize work orders to ensure efficient turnaround times
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and guide technicians through complex repairs
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety compliance
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules
  • Provide repair recommendations and cost estimates
  • Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions within the shop
  • Support hiring, training, and development of shop personnel
  • Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and equipment readiness
  • Test drive equipment and move units safely as needed
 What We’re Looking For
  • Strong mechanical background in semi-trailers, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring technicians in a shop environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and oversee repairs with confidence
  • Solid understanding of preventive maintenance programs and shop workflow
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability
