Shop Foreman – Trailer & Fleet MaintenanceLocation: Tulsa, OKSchedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift) + occasional after-hours supportSalary: $70,000 – $85,000 (based on experience) OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Shop Foreman to lead daily operations of a high-performing trailer repair and maintenance shop. This role is ideal for a strong lead technician or current foreman who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping equipment safe, compliant, and running efficiently. You will serve as the bridge between leadership and technicians—driving productivity, ensuring quality work, and maintaining a safe, organized shop environment. Preferred Qualifications (Highly Desired)
Class A CDL
DOT certifications (FHWA inspections, air brakes, etc.)
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
Experience managing shop productivity, scheduling, or work order systems
What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate daily shop operations for semi-trailer repair and maintenance
Assign and prioritize work orders to ensure efficient turnaround times
Diagnose mechanical issues and guide technicians through complex repairs
Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety compliance
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules
Provide repair recommendations and cost estimates
Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and inventory
Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
Identify and correct unsafe conditions within the shop
Support hiring, training, and development of shop personnel
Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and equipment readiness
Test drive equipment and move units safely as needed
What We’re Looking For
Strong mechanical background in semi-trailers, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment
Proven experience leading or mentoring technicians in a shop environment
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and oversee repairs with confidence
Solid understanding of preventive maintenance programs and shop workflow
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability
