Service CoordinatorShift: Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Starting Pay: $18.00/hourAction Group Staffing is seeking a highly organized Service Coordinator to join a growing industrial equipment manufacturer. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers needing equipment service by coordinating technicians, scheduling repairs and preventive maintenance, preparing service quotes, and ensuring exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well with customers and field personnel, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
Schedule field service technicians for equipment installations, preventive maintenance, and repair appointments.
Receive customer service requests by phone and email and coordinate appropriate solutions.
Assess customer needs and dispatch the most appropriate service technician.
Prepare service estimates and communicate scheduling updates to customers.
Maintain accurate customer records, service history, and technician schedules.
Coordinate technician travel and reconcile expense reports.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and field service personnel.
Monitor open service requests and follow up to ensure timely completion.
Assist with administrative tasks and maintain organized service documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1–3 years of customer service, service coordination, dispatching, or administrative experience.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Compensation & Opportunity
Starting pay of $18.00/hour.
Monday through Friday schedule with weekends off.
Temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time employment after 520 hours.
