Our front desk team does many things between our 4 local offices. They check patients in and out, collect co-pays, register insurance, check insurance eligibility, enter patient demographics, work a tasking queue with tasks from a few different departments, answer phones, schedule appointments, request authorizations and referrals, work a fax queue, medical records, mail patient packets, mail thank you cards, mail recalls, balance daily and create a deposit. They are a very important team to our practice as they are the first person and the last person that each patient encounters. We need a friendly face with a bright mind willing to learn and grow with us. Candidates must be able to work independently but still work well as a team. They must be dependable, hard working and fast learners. They need the ability to multitask without losing focus on accuracy. They need great customer service skills both in person and on the phone. They should also possess a willingness to learn beyond their own specific tasks to be able to fill in while others are out at another office.
