Monitor production activities for compliance to standards.
Perform in-process checks for conformance.
Perform in-process testing for conformance.
Enforce good manufacturing practices for food safety.
Work closely with lab technicians and packaging personnel to resolve quality related production issues
Pull production retention samples and representative samples for customers.
Complete documentation and paperwork accurately and legibly.
Must be able to work flexible hours based on an ever changing production schedule.
Qualifications and Education Requirements of the Quality Assurance Technician
Basic and advanced mathematical skills.
Strong reading and comprehension skills required.
Must be hands on individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
Team mentality and adult attitude are required.
High School Diploma
2 or more years of production / manufacturing experience preferred
