Minimum 1 Year experience  

 

We are currently seeking an experienced QA Technician to fill a opening with a company located in Succasunna NJ area.The ideal candidate should be able support the production and manufacturing operations by performing incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections, using test equipment and documentation to verify compliance with product specifications, company standards, and customer requirements. Identify non-conforming items, initiate corrective actions, and maintain accurate inspection records.  

 

Requirements of the QA Technician  

  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college or technical coursework preferred. 

  • Prior manufacturing experience (preferably inspection, QA/QC, or lab environment) is a plus. 

  • Basic understanding of measurement tools, instruments, and inspection methods. 

  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to follow procedures. 

  • Good data entry, documentation, and computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook). 

  • Ability to stand/walk for the shift, occasionally bend, squat, reach, lift up to ~25-50 lbs. depending online. 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills; the ability to work as part of a team. 

  • Willingness to work shifts/overtime as production demands.

Responsibilities of the Technician  

  • Perform inspections and testing of raw materials, intermediate production stages, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications. 

  • Use test equipment (scales, micrometers, gauges, meters, etc.) and measurement tools to verify conformance. 

  • Read and understand work orders, drawing/specification requirements, inspection criteria, and QA documentation. 

  • Record data, fill logs, databases, and inspection forms accurately and timely. 

  • Identify non-conforming product/materials, mark and hold them, and communicate with production/QA management. 

  • Support root-cause investigations and corrective action tracking when quality deviations occur. 

  • Maintain calibration status of measurement/test equipment and assist in equipment maintenance. 

  • Support 5S / housekeeping / safety standards in the quality area. 

  • Assist in audits, process changes, document revisions, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to support quality goals.
