Plant ManagerWagoner, OKDirect Hire | Full-Time Our client is a growing manufacturer of engineered-to-order industrial cooling equipment serving the oil & gas, power generation, gas compression, and midstream processing industries. The company designs and manufactures air-cooled heat exchangers and related thermal transfer equipment for critical industrial applications. The organization operates a large manufacturing campus and continues to expand capacity to support increasing customer demand. Position SummaryThe Plant Manager will provide overall leadership for manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery across multiple fabrication and assembly departments. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence while supporting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience managing fabrication, welding, structural steel, heavy industrial equipment manufacturing, pressure-containing equipment, heat exchangers, process equipment, or similar engineered-to-order products. Qualifications
7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
Prior experience as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or Production Manager.
Strong background in heavy fabrication, welding, structural steel, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, oil & gas equipment, process equipment, or similar industrial manufacturing environments.
Experience managing large production teams and multiple departments.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
Ability to balance safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Experience
ASME, API, pressure vessel, heat exchanger, or industrial process equipment manufacturing.
Engineered-to-order manufacturing environments.
Oil & gas, power generation, midstream, or energy-sector equipment production.
Multi-shop or campus manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all plant operations including fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, quality, maintenance, shipping, and materials management.
Drive production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Develop and monitor KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, scrap, rework, quality, and on-time delivery.
Partner with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams to support engineered-to-order manufacturing projects.
Build and mentor supervisors, department managers, and production personnel.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce operational costs.
Manage workforce planning, staffing, training, and performance management activities.
Support capital equipment planning and facility expansion efforts.
Maintain strong communication across operations, engineering, sales, and executive leadership.
