Job Title: PRN School Cafeteria Worker Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Employment Type: PRN / As-Needed Locations: Multiple School Campuses Across the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) Area Job Summary We are seeking dependable PRN School Cafeteria Workers to provide on-call support in school cafeterias across multiple campuses in the DFW area. This role supports daily food service operations by assisting with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe cafeteria environment. Flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential. Key Responsibilities ● Assist with food preparation and meal service according to school nutrition guidelines ● Serve students in a courteous and efficient manner ● Operate cafeteria equipment such as serving lines and warming units ● Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, serving, and dining areas ● Wash dishes, utensils, and food service equipment ● Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards ● Assist with receiving, stocking, and storing food supplies ● Support cafeteria setup and cleanup before and after meal service Qualifications ● High school diploma or GED preferred ● Previous food service or cafeteria experience preferred, but not required ● Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices a plus ● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 pounds ● Ability to work well in a team environment ● Reliable transportation required for multiple campus locations Schedule ● PRN / On-call ● Hours may vary and typically fall within school meal times ● Assignments provided based on campus needs across DFW
