Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Assembler / Inventory to fulfill a position for a client of ours located in Whippany NJ. An ideal candidate will have experience in electronic assembly, inventory, picking, and packing. This is a Hybrid role, where part of the day is spent on mechanical assembly and the other part on inventory.
Requirements for the Mechanical Assembler / Inventory:
  • Mechanical Assembler/ Electronic Assembler
  • Read blueprints and work instructions
  • Soldering wires
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
  • Inventory knowledge
  • packing 
Benefits of the Mechanical Assembler / Inventory:
  • Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
  • Pay Rate $20.00 hr

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler / Inventory:
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to the blueprint and work instructions
  • Perform soldering of wires, connectors, and small parts.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
  • Report issues with parts, equipment, or processes to supervisors.
  • Review inventory and counting
  • Make boxes, packaging orders.
