Forklift Operator / Material HandlerDallas, TX | Starting at $17.00/hr DOEAction Group Staffing is seeking experienced Forklift Operators / Material Handlers for a client located in Dallas, TX. This position combines forklift operation with hands-on warehouse duties, including material handling, sorting, and light dismantling of electronic equipment and recyclable materials. Responsibilities
Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack to move pallets and materials throughout the facility
Sort and perform light dismantling of electronic equipment and recyclable materials
Separate materials according to designated commodities
Complete required forklift safety inspections before operation
Operate or train to operate equipment such as balers and shredders
Follow established procedures, safety requirements, and work instructions
Properly use required PPE at all times
Assist in other warehouse areas based on operational needs
Requirements
Previous forklift experience required
Active forklift certification required
Strong safety awareness and ability to operate equipment responsibly
Reliable and punctual attendance
Ability to read and follow basic work instructions
Basic math skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Overtime may be available as needed
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
Ability to stand for extended periods
Frequent walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and heavier items with assistance
Comfortable working around industrial and recycling equipment
Schedule1st Shift – Monday through FridayPayStarting at $17.00/hr, depending on experience
