Maintenance Technician / MechanicAction Group Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Mechanic for a manufacturing client in Tulsa, OK. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, and keeping production running efficiently.Pay:$20.00+/hour DOE Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Occasional Saturdays may be required for emergency equipment repairs (rare).Position OverviewThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operation. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working with industrial machinery.Qualifications
Previous maintenance technician, industrial maintenance, or mechanic experience required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Experience dismantling and repairing industrial machinery.
Ability to read and use basic hand and power tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Pass drug screen and background check
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot equipment and machinery to identify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Inspect, clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery to maximize performance and reliability.
Dismantle machinery and replace or repair defective components.
Complete basic mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment concerns.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Work closely with production personnel to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
