Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay & Schedule: $25/hour5:00am – 5:00pm Action Group Staffing is seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required; trade school certification preferred
2+ years of equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of PLCs and basic electrical troubleshooting
Experience with industrial, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Electrical certification or license is a plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Proficient with hand and power tools
Basic Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn maintenance software
Pass drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on industrial, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment breakdowns, including PLC-controlled systems, to minimize downtime
Maintain and repair equipment such as flexographic presses, rewind machines, motors, compressors, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, belts, and bearings
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and downtime causes accurately
Support equipment upgrades, facility improvement projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components
Follow OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, safety, and EHS requirements at all times
Work closely with production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations
