Lead Maintenance Technician – ManufacturingPay: $29/hour Monday – Thursday 5:00am – 5:00pmJob SummaryThe Lead Maintenance Technician oversees daily maintenance operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and promoting a safe, efficient work environment. This role provides technical leadership, mentors maintenance team members, and partners with production leadership to support operational goals.Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including electrical troubleshooting
Prior leadership or lead experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Working knowledge of PLCs and electrical systems
Electrical certification or license a plus
Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Proficient with maintenance software and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (75 lbs with assistance)
Ability to work in a production environment with noise, dust, and temperature variations
Pass drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
Lead and prioritize daily maintenance activities to support production schedules
Assign tasks and provide guidance to maintenance technicians
Perform and oversee preventive maintenance (PMs) on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment
Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment breakdowns, including PLC-controlled systems
Maintain production equipment such as flexographic presses, rewind machines, motors, compressors, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, belts, and bearings
Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance work and downtime analysis
Support equipment upgrades, facility projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor and manage spare parts inventory
Enforce OSHA, safety, Lockout/Tagout, and EHS compliance standards
Serve as primary maintenance contact during assigned shift
