We’re looking for a CNC Operator for a company located in Paterson, NJ. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC lathe work and with HAAS machines. This position is ideal for a dependable machining professional with hands-on CNC experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities of the CNC Operator:
Complete multiple CNC machine setups
Adjust tool lengths and offsets as necessary
Read and interpret blueprints
Perform first article inspections
Machine aluminum and stainless steel components
Apply practical math and geometry in machining operations
Learn and operate additional machine types, including Kiwa equipment
Maintain accuracy and quality throughout the machining process
Benefits of the CNC Operator:
Monday-Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm.
Pay rate $30 hr
Healt Insurance/ Dental/ Vision/ Term life, no waiting period
Requirements of the CNC Operator:
5 years of experience with HAAS CNC lathe and/or mill setup or operation preferred
Experience machining aluminum and stainless steel
High school diploma or equivalent
Practical knowledge of math and geometry
Basic computer skills
Mastercam programming knowledge preferred
Ability and willingness to learn additional machinery
Dependable with a positive, team-oriented attitude
