Job Description
Job Title: Industrial Coating TechnicianPosition Summary  Prepares and coats metal components using industrial finishing processes. Focuses on surface preparation, coating application, and maintaining quality and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces by sanding, grinding, masking, and filling imperfections.Mix and apply primers or coatings using spray equipment.Inspect surfaces and identify defects requiring correction.Set up and maintain paint equipment and work areas.Monitor coating quality and thickness.Follow safety procedures for handling materials and chemicals.Assist in troubleshooting coating or material issues.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Strong attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsExperience in industrial or automotive painting.Familiarity with spray equipment and coating systems.Knowledge of surface prep and finishing standards.
