Industrial Maintenance Technician / MechanicDallas, TX | $25.00–$32.00/hr DOEAction Group Staffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician/Mechanic for a client located in Dallas, TX. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who can work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, equipment, and facility systems
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
Repair and maintain conveyors, shredders, crushers, granulators, balers, and other material-handling equipment
Perform MIG and Stick welding and fabrication
Troubleshoot 24V DC controls and 480V motor controls
Install, assemble, test, and relocate machinery and equipment
Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
Perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential safety or maintenance concerns
Assist with general facility maintenance and improvement projects
Respond to emergency maintenance needs as required
Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures
Preferred ExperienceCandidates should have hands-on industrial maintenance experience with several of the following:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, welders, and maintenance equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to safety, quality, and equipment reliability
Overtime and weekend availability may be required
Pay$25.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experienceThis is not an entry-level maintenance position.
