Site Foreman / Heavy Equipment OperatorLocation: VariesPay: $21–$30+ per hour (based on experience)Schedule: Full-TimeJob SummaryAction Group Staffing seeking a Site Foreman / Heavy Equipment Operator, on-site working leader responsible for directing crews, managing daily operations, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to plan.  Responsibilities of Site Foreman / Heavy Equipment Operator:
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate jobsite crews to meet daily production goals
  • Plan and assign daily work tasks based on site conditions and project timelines
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on site for crews, subcontractors, and management
  • Enforce safety policies, conduct daily safety meetings, and ensure OSHA compliance
  • Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, elevations, and grade stakes
  • Monitor quality, productivity, and workmanship throughout the project
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower to avoid delays
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed, including excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, graders, and compactors
  • Identify issues early and communicate solutions to project management
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsite conditions
  • Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
 Qualifications of Site Foreman / Heavy Equipment Operator:
  • Prior experience as a Site Foreman, Lead Operator, or Crew Lead in construction or site work
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold crews accountable
  • Solid understanding of grading, excavation, utilities, and site preparation
  • Ability to read and execute plans and elevations independently
  • Strong safety mindset and jobsite awareness
  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL a plus
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
 Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to get in and out of equipment
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
