Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Tulsa, OK  (Will vary. Occasional travel required.)Pay & Schedule:Pay: $21–$25 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday 7am – 5pm| Overtime as needed Job SummaryAction Group Staffing is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join a growing excavation and construction team in the Tulsa area. This role is responsible for safely operating heavy machinery on job sites to support excavation, grading, and site development projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in working in fast-paced outdoor environments. Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.) 
  • Experience in excavation, grading, trenching, or site preparation preferred 
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and blueprints 
  • Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations 
  • Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance 
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions 
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus) 
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen 
 Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction and excavation sites 
  • Perform tasks such as digging, trenching, grading, and material handling 
  • Read and follow project plans, markings, and grade stakes 
  • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections 
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety issues 
  • Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment 
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures
