Action Group Staffing is currently seeking a dependable Kitchen Assistant to support daily operations in a healthcare facility. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.Job Requirements:
Ability to follow cleaning and sanitation guidelines
Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic
Ability to lift, move furniture, and perform physical tasks as needed
Comfortable working in a healthcare/mental health setting
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to accurately track and report time worked
Pass drug screen and background check
Responsibilities:
Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas
Wipe tables and clean dining areas after meal service
Sweep and mop dining room and common area floors
Remove garbage following meals and throughout shift as needed
Disinfect doorknobs and high-touch surfaces throughout the facility
Assist maintenance staff with unit turnover, including cleaning, moving furniture, and removing trash
Accurately report time worked (not to exceed assigned hours)
Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating recovery and wellness
