Shredder OperatorDallas, TX | Starting at $17.00/hr DOEAction Group Staffing is seeking dependable Shredder Operators for a growing electronic recycling facility in the Dallas area. This is a hands-on industrial position responsible for operating shredding equipment used to process electronic materials for recycling and recovery. Responsibilities
Safely operate industrial shredding equipment
Feed electronic materials into shredding systems
Monitor equipment during operation and clear or report jams
Sort and prepare electronic materials before processing
Stage processed materials for production
Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist other warehouse and production areas as needed
Requirements
Previous manufacturing, production, recycling, or warehouse equipment experience preferred
Experience with shredders, conveyors, balers, or similar industrial equipment is a plus
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around machinery
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Strong safety awareness
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Non-climate-controlled warehouse
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs with assistance
Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks
PPE required
Must be comfortable working in a moderate-to-loud industrial environment
Overtime may be available as needed
