General Material Handler – Computer SkilledDallas, TX | Starting at $16.00/hrAction Group Staffing is seeking dependable General Material Handlers with basic computer skills for a client located in Dallas, TX. This position combines hands-on warehouse work with basic computer and inventory-related responsibilities in an electronic recycling environment. Responsibilities
Sort and perform light dismantling of electronic equipment and recyclable materials
Separate materials according to designated commodities and established procedures
Create and maintain serialized inventory records using Excel
Learn and navigate an internal inventory system
Move pallets safely using pallet jacks
Use scanners, computers, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment
Follow established work instructions, processes, and safety procedures
Maintain and properly use required PPE
Assist in other warehouse areas as operational needs require
Requirements
Basic computer skills required
Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Excel
Ability to accurately enter and maintain serialized information
Ability to learn new computer systems
Basic math skills
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Strong attendance and reliability
Ability to work well as part of a team
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Previous warehouse, material handling, inventory, or electronic recycling experience is a plus
Physical & Work Environment
Non-climate-controlled warehouse
Must be comfortable standing and moving throughout the shift
Frequent walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and heavier items with assistance
Overtime may be available as needed
