We are seeking a Conveyor Belt Fabricator to join a growing team in Oakland, NJ. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity with a stable company that offers long-term career growth in an essential industry.
Responsibilities
Fabricate conveyor belt products according to work orders
Read and interpret work orders and production drawings
Safely operate mechanical equipment and hand tools
Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Assist with material handling and operate a forklift (training available)
Benefits:
Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm, 1 hour lunch
Overtime available as needed
Pay rate $18 hr
Medical/ Dental/ Vision, no waiting period
Qualifications
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to safely use hand tools and mechanical equipment
Forklift experience is a plus, but training is available
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
Comfortable performing hands-on work in a manufacturing environment
Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Preferred BackgroundExperience in any of the following is a plus:
Carpentry
Woodworking
Flooring or carpet installation
Siding installation
Manufacturing or fabrication
Any role involving measuring, cutting, or hand tools
