Job Description
Action Group Staffing is seeking reliable Excavation General Labor in Tulsa. Support pad construction, grading, and site preparation activities. This role works closely with equipment operators and site supervisors to ensure job sites are properly prepared, safe, and meet grading specifications. MUST have reliable transportation.Location:Will vary. Occasional travel required. Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time, Monday–Friday (with possible overtime)
7am to 5pm
$18-$20+ per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities
Assist with pad construction, grading, and site prep
Work alongside dozer, excavator, and skid steer operators
Perform hand grading, raking, leveling, and compaction support
Set and maintain grade stakes, string lines, and elevations
Assist with trenching, backfilling, and material placement
Load, unload, and move materials and tools around the job site
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow site safety protocols and OSHA standards
Perform general labor tasks as needed to support excavation crews
Requirements
Previous experience in excavation, grading, or construction labor preferred
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, stand, and work on uneven terrain
Basic understanding of construction tools and job site safety
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow directions
Valid driver’s license preferred (site-dependent)
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Experience working around heavy equipment
Familiarity with pad building, grading tolerances, or compaction
Understanding of construction layouts or grade checking
