Job Description
CNC Machine Operator Shift: Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) Starting Pay: $18.00–$22.00/hour (DOE)
Action Group Staffing is seeking a dependable CNC Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce precision-machined components while maintaining quality and production standards. The ideal candidate has previous CNC machining experience, can read blueprints, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
Load programs, install tooling, and adjust machine offsets.
Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and machining instructions.
Monitor machine performance and identify production issues.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
Replace tooling and perform routine machine adjustments.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous CNC machining or CNC machine operator experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Basic understanding of CNC operations, tooling, and machine setup.
Familiarity with G-code and M-code is a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Compensation & Opportunity
Starting pay of $18.00–$22.00/hour, based on experience.
Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule.
