Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant? Location: Pryor, OK
? Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
? Pay: $18.00 per hour to startPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage daily financial operations and serve as the backup for payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have experience in QuickBooks, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced office environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger).
  • Reconcile bank statements and company credit cards.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial reports.
  • Assist in preparing information for tax filings and audits.
  • Serve as backup payroll processor, ensuring timely and accurate employee pay through QuickBooks.
  • Verify employee hours, deductions, and PTO before payroll submission.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial and employee records.
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years bookkeeping or accounting experience (QuickBooks required).
  • Working knowledge of payroll processing preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
