Semi-Trailer Service Technician Location: Tulsa, OKPay: $25+/hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Summary Action Group Staffing is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair semi-trailers and related equipment. This role includes working on box trucks, brakes, lights, seals, and general maintenance to ensure DOT compliance, as well as structural repairs to trailers and components. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and the ability to work independently.Job Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-2 years experience servicing semi-trailers
Forklift certification or ability to become certified
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Diesel engine experience
Class A CDL preferred
DOT certification (FHWA Inspections & Air Brakes) preferred
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
Strong mechanical aptitude with solid verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and equipment failures on trailers and vehicles
Perform routine and corrective maintenance on tractors and trailers, including braking and hydraulic systems
Inspect, repair, and complete preventative maintenance on trailers and customer equipment
Repair flooring, rub rails, doors, door trim, roofs, nose panels, and upper rails
Use hand and power tools to repair or replace defective components
Perform welding, electrical, fabrication, sheet metal, and mechanical work as needed
Maintain accurate maintenance records and DOT compliance documentation
Safely operate tractor-trailer units for testing or transport as needed
Read and interpret manuals, safety rules, and operating procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines
