Job Title: Accounting Assistant Location: Tulsa, OK Pay & Schedule: $22–$25/hour DOE | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Position Overview Action Group Staffing is assisting a Tulsa client in their search for an experienced Accounting Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background, experience using Sage software, and solid Microsoft Office skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a variety of accounting support tasks in a professional office setting. Job Requirements • Prior experience in accounting or a related field • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures • Experience with Sage software preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Pass drug screen and background check Responsibilities • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions • Prepare and maintain financial records and filing systems • Support month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and data entry • Assist with weekly check runs • Reconcile vendor payments • Respond to internal and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner#INDT
