ASME Code WelderWagoner Area Manufacturing Facility $27–30/hour DOE + Shift Differential AvailablePosition OverviewA growing manufacturer serving the oil & gas industry is seeking experienced ASME Code Welders to join its fabrication team specializing in air-cooled heat exchangers, rectangular box headers, pressure vessels, and process equipment.This position is ideal for welders with previous ASME Section VIII and Section IX experience who take pride in producing high-quality, code-compliant welds in a heavy industrial fabrication environment. Candidates should be comfortable working from blueprints, weld procedures (WPS), and engineering drawings while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.Openings are available on both 1st and 2nd Shift.Essential Responsibilities
Perform ASME code-compliant welds on pressure vessels, rectangular box headers, and heat exchanger components.
Weld in accordance with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII and Section IX requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, WPS documents, and engineering specifications.
Perform FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, and/or GTAW welding processes as required.
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, dimensional accuracy, and code compliance.
Work closely with fitters, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production schedules.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.
Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
Previous ASME Code Welding experience is required.
Working knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII & IX.
Experience welding pressure vessels, heat exchangers, process equipment, air coolers, piping systems, or similar heavy industrial products strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, fabrication drawings, and WPS documentation.
Experience with FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, and/or GTAW welding processes.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality code welds.
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Stable work history and dependable attendance.
