Materal Material Handler is responsible for sorting and performing minor dismantling of electronic equipment and other recyclable materials. Team members must be able to identify various materials, follow cutlines, and correctly process items according to established procedures. This role requires working under general supervision and in compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines. Responsibilities & Daily Tasks: · Maintain and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. · Work under the general supervision of the Area Lead. · Sort and perform light dismantling of electronic equipment/products, separating items by designated commodity. · Move pallets safely within the warehouse using pallet jacks. · Operate or be trained to operate heavy equipment such as balers and shredders. · Follow standard procedures and technical processes specific to the assigned work area. · May be reassigned to other departments or areas based on operational needs. Job Requirements & Qualifications: · Reliable and punctual attendance is essential. · Overtime may be offered as needed. · Willingness to travel to other sites as needed. · Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams. · Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Bilingual is preferred. · Ability to read and understand basic work instructions. · Basic math proficiency. Education & Training: · High School Diploma or equivalent not required but preferred. · On the job training Work Environment: · Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. · Noise levels are generally moderate. Physical Demands: · Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently, 20 pounds constantly, and 75 pounds occasionally with assistance. · Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform es-sential job functions. · Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent physical activities including walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, and reaching. Travel Requirements: · Occasional travel may be required (0–10%).
