Job Description – HR AssistantLocation: Dallas, TX / Ontario, CA Department: Human Resources Reports To: HR ManagerAbout the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and driven HR Assistant to join our growing Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on working with people, is creative in problem-solving, and is motivated to build a positive and supportive workplace culture. As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting HR operations, employee engagement, and compliance initiatives.Key Responsibilities
Employee Support & Engagement
Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
Support employee onboarding, orientation, and engagement programs.
Assist with employee recognition, celebrations, and team-building initiatives.
HR Operations
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
Process new hire documentation, terminations, and status changes.
Assist in coordinating recruitment efforts, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Support payroll and benefits administration as needed.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Support audits by maintaining accurate documentation.
Assist with creating, updating, and distributing HR policies and procedures.
Culture & Creativity
Contribute innovative ideas to enhance company culture and employee experience.
Assist with planning HR initiatives, trainings, and events.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Qualifications
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or related field.
Education: High School Diploma, Some college preferred
Skills & Attributes:
Passion for people and employee well-being.
Creative, solution-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
