POSITION: Electrical Assembly Technician II PAY TYPE: Hourly EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temp to Perm PAY RATE: $19.00-$23.00 per hour (depending on experience) Looking for a top-notch Electrical Assembly Tech II at our DFW location! Must be experienced in using power and hand tools for the assembly of large parcel automation equipment and electrical conveyor assemblies. May be requested to work overtime as required to meet production's needs as well as flexibility to work around scheduled production hours. • Connects electrical wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points. • Cuts wire to specified lengths and routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wire to terminal points. • Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, and reassembles as required. • Performs tasks that require knowledge of a combination of processes, operations and equipment. • Duties may consist of, but not limited to, working from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, sketches and verbal instructions to produce electrical or electromechanical subassemblies. • Frequently required to use fine motor skills, assembling some small parts with excellent dexterity Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods. • Identifies and reports problems to the group lead or manager. • Perform 5S activities, maintain and improve work area order and cleanliness • Access and follow drawings from computer system • Perform work in a safe and healthy manner Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment • Ability to work well with others POSITION REQUIREMENTS • Climate controlled setting • Standing and walking required • Lifting up to 50 lbs at times is required • Bending, twisting, turning and using hands is required ● Responsible for preparing electrical wiring for installation by accurately stripping insulation and clamping wires in accordance with safety and technical specifications. Tasks include measuring and cutting wire to specified lengths, using hand tools or automated equipment to strip insulation without damaging conductors, and securely fastening wires using clamps or terminals to ensure reliable electrical connections.
