• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Install, assemble, and test new equipment and machinery.
• Repair or replace defective components, parts, and equipment.
• Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain maintenance logs and repair records.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, welders, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Maintain facility systems including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, doors, and general building repairs.
• Assist with equipment setup, relocation, and facility improvement projects.
• Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate equipment issues and repair status to supervisors and operations.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Assist with inventory management of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
• Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Team Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead, assign, and prioritize daily maintenance activities.
• Supervise and provide guidance to maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules to minimize operational downtime.
• Train and mentor maintenance team members on equipment, procedures, and safety practices.
• Monitor work quality and ensure repairs are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist in evaluating employee performance by providing coaching and development.
• Coordinate with Operations to prioritize repairs and support production goals.
• Ensure maintenance work orders are completed, documented, and closed in a timely manner.
• Monitor maintenance inventory and coordinate ordering of parts and supplies.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and team efficiency.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Assist with planning and executing facility upgrades, equipment installations, and capital improvement projects.
• Serve as the primary maintenance point of contact during equipment failures and emergency situations.
• Perform other maintenance and leadership duties as assigned.
