We are looking to fill a Sorter Associate position for a company located in Portland, PA. We are looking for an individual who is motivated, willing to learn, and looking for advancement opportunities to join a fast-paced production team. Responsibilities of the Sorter Associate:
Sort plastic materials.
Remove contaminants such as metals, non-plastic waste, or foreign objects.
Identify and separate recyclable materials according to company and industry standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Monitor the sorting line to prevent jams or blockages.
Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors.
Follow safety protocols and always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with other tasks, such as baling, loading, or facility clean-up.
