Action Group Staffing is seeking an Overnight Industrial Mechanic to fill an opening with a company located in Rockaway, NJ. The ideal candidate should have some previous Industrial Mechanic experience and strong knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Requirements for the Overnight Industrial Mechanic;
Must be Bilingual in English/Spanish
High School diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a food production or bakery environment.
Familiar with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including holidays as needed.
Benefits of the Overnight Industrial Mechanic;
The starting pay rate is $30-35 per hour based on experience.
It is a six-day week, including every other weekend.
The schedule is 10 pm-6:30 am.
Full-time position.

Responsibilities of Overnight Industrial Mechanic;
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, packaging machines, and refrigeration units.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
Regularly inspect equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure safety and quality standards compliance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts and supplies.
Collaborate with production staffing to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to operations.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as needed.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following all safety regulations and protocols.
Participate in training programs to stay current with industry best practices and equipment.
