Job Description

Job Title: MA for Medical FacilityAction Group Staffing is currently seeking an MA for a Medical Facility in Tulsa, OK.  Requirements:  
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous Customer Service/ MA experience
  • Previous Front Desk/ Administrative experience
  • Pass a background check and drug test 
 Pay: $18+DOEShift: M-F, 8-5 or 8-7 Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Record patient medical histories
  • Measure and document vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, blood pressure)
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures
  • Assist physicians during examinations
  • Apply and change dressings
  • Specimen Collection & Testing:
  • Collect specimens such as blood, urine, and swabs
  • Prepare samples for laboratory analysis
  • Infection Control & Equipment Maintenance:
  • Sterilize instruments and disinfect exam rooms
  • Set up and operate medical equipment (e.g., EKG machines)
  • Assist in medication preparation and administration
  • Support wound care and dressing applications
  • Provide clear instructions on procedures, medications, and post-visit care plans
 Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Enter test results, diagnoses, and treatment notes
  • Process insurance claims and perform medical coding
  • Manage patient billing and payment tracking
  • Communication & Front Desk Duties:
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages
  • Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and facilitate patient flow
  • Monitor and order medical and office supplies as needed
