Job Title: Finish Dozer OperatorLocation: North TulsaJob Type: Full-Time/TemporarySalary: $25-$30 per hourJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Finish Dozer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a dozer to perform final grading, finish work, and fine-tuning of surfaces to meet specifications. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret project plans.Key Responsibilities:
Operate a dozer to complete final grading, sloping, and finish work according to project specifications.
Ensure surfaces are smooth, compact, and properly contoured for drainage and structural integrity.
Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes to achieve precise grading.
Adjust blade height, angle, and tilt for fine grading and finishing work.
Work efficiently around other heavy equipment, personnel, and obstacles on the job site.
Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety regulations and company policies.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and ground crew to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating a finish dozer in a construction or earthmoving environment.
Strong knowledge of grading techniques, soil types, and compaction requirements.
Ability to read and interpret grading plans, blueprints, and survey stakes.
Experience with GPS and laser-guided grading systems is a plus.
Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve precise grades and slopes.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; CDL may be preferred depending on job requirements.
