We are looking to fill an English/Spanish Supervisor for the 2nd shift for a company located near Parsippany, NJ. The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day operation of assigned assets across shifts or all assets on one shift to drive business performance by reducing waste and improving, output and labor utilization. Leads continuous improvement projects that help drive improvements in efficiency and scrap, which leads to lower costs. Responsibilities of the Supervisor:
Ensure teams meet manufacturing targets for safety, quality, and productivity (output, labor and waste).
Provide day-to-day leadership/direction for direct reports and team members on assigned lines/shifts.
Analyzes manufacturing data and recommends measures to improve equipment safety, product quality, production efficiencies, equipment performance, and scrap rate for their assets.
Coordinate staffing and overtime requirements to meet production needs.
Ensures that all asset team members understand and meet customer expectations.
Ensures that all policies and procedures are understood and followed.
Optimizes shift transitions through consistent communication with team members.
Coordinate or conduct training as required.
Contribute to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work as needed or requested.

Salary $85-$100K per year, based on experience
Requirements of the supervisor:
Bilingual English/ Spanish a must
HS or GED and 8 years of manufacturing with 4 years of supervisory experience OR
Associate degree and 4 years of manufacturing OR
Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations management, or business and 2 years of manufacturing
Good communication skills face-to-face and in person.
Occasional lifting to 35 lbs.
Constant standing and walking. Occasional to frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and reaching.
Work environment includes occasional noise>85 db and hot and cold temperatures.
