Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation TechnicianAction Group Staffing is currently looking for an Electrical Instrumentation Technician for a warehouse near Inola. Job Requirements:Requirements: :
Three years of strong industrial electrical background in a manufacturing environment
Mechanical engineering: 3 years (Required)
Electrical: 3 years (Required)
Pay:$27+ DOEShift: Rotating 12, 6-6Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily accomplish the following. Perform duties to ensure that all electrical and instrumentation maintenance is performed; replace and repair components and parts as needed, program monitoring systems and troubleshoot errors, to keep plant in safe and efficient operating condition
Use the appropriate tools software to troubleshoot and diagnose the root cause of electrical issues in the facility
Troubleshoot and test functionality of process instrumentation; flow meters, level transmitters, level switches…etc
Work with internal and external resources to resolve issues as quickly and effectively as possible
Interpret electrical schematics and user manuals
PLC/DCS programming, troubleshooting, and repair
Repair electrical and electronic systems including any electromechanical production equipment
Collect PLC input and output data to monitor efficiency of equipment to assist in the planning of future conversion operations
Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance plans and work orders
Train others on technical content (especially as it relates to electrical subsystems)
Continually seek out opportunities for process improvements
Assist and consult with the management/engineering on projects as neede
Adhere to safe work practices, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained
Manage and work with contractors and vendors to monitor and improve the efficiency and output
Perform routine preventive maintenance inspections on plant equipment
