Action Group Staffing is assisting clients in their search for 6G Pipe Welders.West Tulsa and Catoosa locations available.PAY: $25 - $28+ per hourWELD TEST: Open root 3G MIG/Flux core fill-in cap test and a 6G TIG root flux fill-in cap on 2-inch Schedule 160SCHEDULE: Monday -Friday Day ShiftRequirements of the 6G Pipe Welders:
Set-up and operation of advanced welding equipment.
Pipe Welding: 2+ years TIG.
Required to obtain weld certification to AWS/ANSI standards.
Intermediate math skills and ability to read a tape measure required.
Solid understanding of volts and amps and; adjust accordingly.
Basic data entry skills for maintenance breakdown calls.
Capability to read and interpret blueprints, work order instructions, weld symbols
Operate required tools involved in position.
Follow the quality policy and procedures.
Problem solving skills.
Responsibilities of 6G Pipe Welders:
Plan and map out details of working procedure
Set-up and operate welding machines
Make advanced adjustments as needed for quality
Clock into production jobs and maintains production average at or above standards
