Job Description – HR AssistantLocation: Dallas, TX / Ontario, CA
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR ManagerAbout the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and driven HR Assistant to join our growing Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on working with people, is creative in problem-solving, and is motivated to build a positive and supportive workplace culture. As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting HR operations, employee engagement, and compliance initiatives.Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Support & Engagement
    • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
    • Support employee onboarding, orientation, and engagement programs.
    • Assist with employee recognition, celebrations, and team-building initiatives.
  • HR Operations
    • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
    • Process new hire documentation, terminations, and status changes.
    • Assist in coordinating recruitment efforts, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
    • Support payroll and benefits administration as needed.
  • Compliance & Reporting
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
    • Support audits by maintaining accurate documentation.
    • Assist with creating, updating, and distributing HR policies and procedures.
  • Culture & Creativity
    • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance company culture and employee experience.
    • Assist with planning HR initiatives, trainings, and events.
    • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • Education: High School Diploma, Some college preferred
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Passion for people and employee well-being.
    • Creative, solution-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
