Industry: Beverage Production Pay Rate: $8.00-$9.00

We have immediate openings for multiple positions at a factory in Ft. Gibson. Machine operators, QA techs, blenders, sanitation, forklift, etc... Pay range will differ depending on job. We have either day or overnight 12 hour shifts. 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am.

 

Machine Operator Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Will operate assigned stations and all other associated work including: preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, making minor adjustments to maintain greatest operational efficiency, assist other operators, etc.
  • Will handle empty cases and other line problems.
  • Train other operators.
  • Perform best practice quality checks.
  • Watch for defective materials.
  • Perform any other related work in accordance with line quality.
  • Manually record all data as required; charting necessary process adjustments based on data findings.
  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of all equipment and facility as required.

 

Forklift Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count incoming as well as outgoing materials.
  • Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift.
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer standards.

Blender Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Must apply blending procedures, sanitation and quality directives or initiatives in a manner consistent with food safety and quality.
  • Will request, inspect and receive ingredients from the Raw Materials Department Verify SVG forms.
  • Will periodically monitor calibration labels on scales, gauges and flow meters used in the blending and processing operation to ensure validity and accuracy.
  • Will not alter or deviate from any procedure, policy or oral directive without prior management approval.
  • Responsible for the blending of authorized ingredients in the order and manner specifically outlined in each customer specification.
  • Ensure blending is conducted in a safe, sanitary manner in the designated quantities, using correct blend tanks and processed in pre-designated processors only.
  • Prescribed written requirements of time, temperature and flow of product during processing will be monitored and recorded at the required frequencies.
  • Correct configuration of processor and verification of software set point values of times and temperatures will be strictly adhered.
  • Maintain active communication with production/filler personnel to minimize unnecessary downtime.

Quality Assurance Technician Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor production activities for compliance to standards.
  • Perform in-process checks for conformance.
  • Perform in-process testing for conformance.
  • Enforce good manufacturing practices for food safety.
  • Work closely with lab technicians and packaging personnel to resolve quality related production issues and concerns.
  • Pull production retention samples and representative samples for customers.
  • Complete documentation and paperwork accurately and legibly.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours based on an ever changing production schedule.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • GED or high school diploma is required.
  • Six months of manufacturing experience is preferred.
