We are sourcing an Litigation Attorney for a law firm in Monmouth Junction, NJ. The ideal candidate must be licensed and have experience, preferably in family law and civil litigation. Requirements for the Litigation Attorney;
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience, preferably in family law and civil litigation.
Licensed and in good standing to practice in NJ.
Strong knowledge of NJ Court Rules and litigation procedure.
Familiarity with eCourts, JEDS, and online court systems.
Excellent writing and courtroom advocacy skills.
Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
Must have a car and be willing to travel to courts statewide.
Benefits for the Litigation Attorney;
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.
Hourly rate $50 hr

Responsibilities for the Litigation Attorney;
Handle all phases of litigation, including client intake, pleadings, discovery, and trial prep.
Draft, file, and argue motions and opposition briefs in Superior and Special Civil Part.
Attend and represent clients at New Jersey court appearances, hearings, and mediations throughout New Jersey.
Conduct Legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and legal correspondence.
Manage discovery, including interrogatories, document requests, and depositions.
Maintain regular communication with clients and adversaries.
Utilize the New Jersey eCourts system for electronic filing and document access.
