 Salary Range:Starting $28 HourlyJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical & Logistics Draftsman to support our engineering and logistics teams by preparing accurate technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design drafting and an understanding of warehouse or supply chain layouts and flow. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that designs meet industry standards, and that logistics plans are clear, efficient, and properly documented.Key Responsibilities:Electrical Drafting:
  • Prepare and revise detailed electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD or other CAD software
     
  • Create single-line diagrams, wiring layouts, panel schedules, and cable routing diagrams
     
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop accurate and compliant designs
     
  • Maintain drawing logs and document revisions in line with project changes
     
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., NEC, IEC)
     
Logistics Support:
  • Create layout drawings for warehouse, production, or storage areas to support efficient logistics planning
     
  • Draft flowcharts, process diagrams, and layout plans for material handling and storage systems
     
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to plan space utilization and equipment placement
     
  • Assist in documenting logistics processes and supporting the development of SOPs
     
  • Maintain accurate records of drawings and logistics plans for future reference and audits
     
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field
     
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical or logistics drafting
     
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D is a plus)
     
  • Familiarity with electrical symbols, diagrams, and industry standards
     
  • Knowledge of warehouse or logistics facility layouts and material flow
     
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
     
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
     
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
     
  • Time management and ability to work under deadlines
     
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other drafting software such as Revit, SolidWorks, or EPLAN
     
  • Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems
     
  • Experience working in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments
     
  • Understanding of electrical installation or supply chain processes
